$ 1200Our Exam Event Package includes:
If you know what's expected and feel ready to attempt the Level 1 test, book your exam as soon as possible, as spaces are limited.
To increase your chance of success, it’s advisable to book onto the Exam Preparation course immediately preceding each Exam Event, as this provides candidates with detailed insight into the standards required by the DSWA UK, useful hints on speed and efficiency and a full mock test with analysis. Within this package, candidates also have the option to utilise the training centre for further practice the day before their exam and the use of our Riley Northern walling hammers.
Initial – Level 1 Certificate
In the presence of the examiner/s, candidates are required to strip down and rebuild a straightforward free-standing 2.5 square metre section of wall within a single 7 hour period.
The required standard places emphasis on sound and solid construction rather than on a quality finish. Candidates must obtain the minimum mark in each section and an overall pass mark of at least 50 in order to gain certification.

"Walling to me is wholly engaging. It’s my gym, my art class, my mindfulness session and my trip to the country all rolled into one. It requires time, precision and order, patience, resilience, and attention to detail. It connects the past with the future and delivers a beautiful, sustainable structure and unrivalled sense of pride and satisfaction".
